CONDITIONS for being granted A WORKING PERMIT
Full 18 years of age or older and having full civil act capacity
Have professional qualifications, techniques, skills, work experience; have sufficient health as prescribed by the Minister of Health
Not being a person who is in the process of serving the penalty or has not been cleared of a criminal record or is in the process of being examined for criminal liability in accordance with foreign law or Vietnamese law
There is a written approval of the need to employ foreign workers of the competent authority, except in cases where the needs of foreign workers are not required
WHO are granted work permits?
Having labor contracts.
Move in the internal enterprise
Performing various types of contracts or agreements on economics, trade, finance, banking, insurance, science and technology, culture, sports, education, vocational education and health
Contract service provider
Offering services
Working for foreign NGOs, international organizations in Vietnam are allowed to operate
Volunteers
The person responsible for establishing a commercial presence
Managers, executives, experts, technical workers
Participating in the implementation of bidding packages and projects in Vietnam
Relatives of members of foreign representative agencies in Vietnam are allowed to work in Vietnam under international treaties to which Vietnam is a member
