Regulations on paying Social insurance for employees

👉 Before signing the labor contract, the employer can sign the probationary contract within 30-60 days.
👉 After signing the labor contract with the employee, the enterprise shall register the social insurance for the employee.
🔑Note, employees who do not work and do not receive salary for 14 working days or more in a month will can choose register the social insurance or not for that month.
✔️ The monthly salary on which social insurance are based is not lower than the regional minimum wage at the time of payment. The maximum monthly salary on which social insurance and health insurance premiums are based is equal to 20 months of basic salary and the maximum salary for which unemployment insurance premiums are paid is equal to 20 months of regional minimum salary.
✔️ Currently, the regional minimum wage is prescribed in Decree No. 90/2019/ND-CP, specifically in Da Nang area: The minimum wage for employees doing the simplest jobs is 3,920,000 VND/month. The minimum wage for employees doing jobs that require vocational training or training is 4,194,400 VND/month.
✔️ The percentage of salary paid for social insurance applied:
* For Vietnamese employees:
+ 01/01/2022 – 30/06/2022: Employer pay 20% and Employee pay 10.5%
+ 01/07/2022 – 30/09/2022: Employer pay 20.5% and Employee pay 10.5%
+ From 01/10/2022: Employer pay 21.5% and Employee pay 10.5%
* For Foreign employees:
+ 01/01/2022 – 30/06/2022: Employer pay 20% and Employee pay 9.5%
+ From 01/07/2022: Employer pay 20.5% and Employee pay 9.5%
